To prepare this citrus remedy, we will need the following ingredients:

  • Orange
  • Grapefruit
  • Lemon
  • Turmeric powder (4 g)
  • Bee honey (150 g)
  • Water (1 liter)

We recommend using organic fruit. We will also have to use the zest of citrus fruits as they are very rich in nutrients.

They can, if they are not organic, contain pesticides, waxes and other chemicals harmful to health.

Preparation

We will follow the following steps to prepare this homemade syrup:

  • Using a blender, mix the fruit cut into pieces and the water.
  • If you don’t have a blender, you can peel the fruit before juicing it. Reserve the peelings.
  • Place everything (juice and zest) in a saucepan then bring to the boil with the turmeric powder.
  • Add the honey then mix well.
  • Cook, without covering, until the liquid thickens, between 30 and 40 minutes.
  • Let cool then filter.
  • Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

How to consume it?

It will be enough, to increase the defenses, to take a spoonful of this remedy, as follows:

  • With an empty stomach
  • Before lunch
  • Before dinner
